Well deserved too, you've certainly earnt it with all the improvements to CP in the last few months. Does this mean we'll get new Code Project features faster now, or did you really buy it for Doom III :-D Michael But you know when the truth is told, That you can get what you want or you can just get old, Your're going to kick off before you even get halfway through. Whats so odd about 2GB of RAM? I have that on my desktop at home. - Dual PIII 1Ghz - 2GB RAM - 280 GB HD - ATI Radeon Dual head - Twin 19" Monitors. - DVD ROM / CDRW / DVDRW Rocks! But I stil want one of those L machines.

It's amazing how quickly a new machine will feel slow, though. Back when 2.4GHz machines were new (a year and a half ago or so?) my company got me one for development. And MAN did it ever scream. Within a month, I found myself getting impatient with my build times. Yeah, they were almost 10x faster than my previous system, but you adjust to that quick. Now the damn thing feels like molasses going up a hill.

Yeah... I have had that happen too... Maybe system manufactrers need to build in a device that holds back allthe power at first and then gradually give you more. I might help spread out that 'new computer' feel; for a bit longer.
