source :unknow When 72-year-old Louise Hackett was told she had glaucoma about 10 years ago, she was overwhelmed with emotion. "I cried," says the Washington, D.C., resident. "People treat you bad enough when you can see. Lord knows how they would treat you when you're blind." :):) It's a sh*tty world. Take advantage of whomever, whenever, whereever. Why is it that you display a pair of smiley emoticons while reporting this woman's misfortune? We're all going to get old one day, including you. No one gets out of here alive... Some people think of it as a six-pack; I consider it more of a support group.

Gotta admit I wondered the same thing... Rob Manderson Colin Davies wrote: I'm sure Americans could use more of it, and thus reduce the world supply faster. This of course would be good, because the faster we run out globally, the less chance of pollution there will be. (Talking about the price of petrol) The Soapbox, March 5 2004

No one gets out of here alive... At least, it's not only me thinking that: I re-read it a thousand times thinking "where's the catch? There must be some kind of hidden joke here". It there is, I didn't get it... I see dumb people

Really taking it on the cheek here, huh? I assume with the smilies and Source:unknown that this is just a "funny". I'm picturing a some sitcom with a cute little ol' lady freaking out for no reason. Of course if your actually smiling at someone's real misfortune, then by Jove you are a bastard! No one gets out of here alive... gee..am not laughing at her....i just think it's interesting that the first thing she tougth about was what people were going to do with her once she was blind.reminds me of a seinfeld epesode where when the guy went into couma Jerry took his wife,Kramer went to his death bed and harrased him for something he owed. Moral of the story? our hidden fears of one another...i think it has some humor also.:):) It's a sh*tty world. Take advantage of whomever, whenever, whereever.
