Renaming Folders in Explorer
-
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has a solution to this thing thats been bugging me for ages now. In Windows - before XP - you could rename a folder in the explorer folder view by double clicking on it. For some reason this is no longer possible in XP, you must select rename from the RMB menu. Now I can sort of see why since new users may rename important folders, but I WONT! Does anyone have any idea if it is possible to re-enable double click editing of folder names? Cheers for any help DAve

And for those what want to know more... Just checked on the web. From http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=282002 Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 282002 Description of Simple Folder View in Windows XP In Microsoft Windows Explorer on a Microsoft Windows XP-based computer, the following behavior occurs under the new Simple Folder view: When you click a folder in the Folders pane, it is automatically expanded to show its subfolders.
