IPaq + Phone
-
Recently I just purchased an Ipaq, which till now I must say i'm still rather satisfied with it. Anyway, i'm just wondering if the Ipaq can be made into a phone given the necessary hardware to read the sim card. Anyone seen such apps? (oh, and does such hardware even exist?)

You can use bluetooh to connect it to a phone (or the IR). Ive tried it with my dads,

I think the others have missed your point, you want an "expansion card" or whatever they call it on an iPaq to turn it into a cellular phone. Not to connect your iPaq to the net through a handset. You get GSM add-ons for iPaqs. I don't know much about them, which are good etc. but here is one. It looks like a PCMIAA card that slips into your iPaq's slot and then your iPaq screen can be used to dial etc. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass South Africa Christopher Duncan quoted: "...that would require my explaining Einstein's Fear of Relatives" Crikey! ain't life grand?
