    am wi-fing baby... i spent all nite trying to figure out this stuff. am finaly back on a 54mps blazing speed. for those who already have it, any tips to keep hotspot thieves out?am a newbee. It's a sh*tty world. Take advantage of whomever,whenever,whereever. And oh.. becarefull what you say to me,am too sensitive.Or i might just show up at your house.i retract the latter,am trying to be a better person.

      WEP will slow them down. Changing the default name help too. If a war driver wants in, its not that difficult to break WEP. It just makes it more difficult. Many linksys routers also limit the number of DHCP clients that can be connected at once. The best way would be using Windows 2003 Server. It can encrypt data to and from the router in a more secure way than WEP can. Good luck. Frank "Keyboard Error - Press F1 to Continue"

        If your access point supports it you should setup MAC filtering .. this will only allow the network cards you specify onto your network
