Find & Replace across files?

As Navin says, Visual Studio .NET does it. If you have Visual Studio 6 there is an add-in that does it. Can't remember what it's called but it may be on codeproject somewhere. If not, it's on codeguru.com. Another alternative is TextPad (http://www.textpad.com[^]). Like UltraEdit, it's low cost but also the evaluation version is non-expiring - similar to WinZip, but you'll be regularly prompted to register it. Kevin

I second UltraEdit. Great all around text editing tool.

I don't trust any Window's application. I prefer to open all files manually, read them and replace all instances of text with something else. Once I'm done, I reopen all files and read them once more to make sure I correctly replaced all files that I wanted and left all those that I didn't intact. It's best if you can charge this to a contract. :omg:
