which RACK should I buy?
-
Hello, I need to buy a rack system in order to get more free space... (the office is growing!). The only problem I have is that I don't have any idea about what rack I have to buy... I'm thinking on a 42u rack with separate and ejectable lateral doors, but I'm searching the right manufacturer: APC, HP, IBM, ... could you give me an advice? thank you in advance!

Don't know if this is what you're talking about, but my company has been switching over to these neat little buggers called "blade servers". They're cheap, fast, and easily expandable. Plus, a bunch of people make 'em. (try google)

I like APC's Netshelter[^]
We have the VX version and its pretty good. It holds 2 4U's, 1 1U, 4 UPSs, 1 8-port KVM and inifinite cables and its only half full (or half empty, however you wanna look at it) :omg: Farhan Noor Qureshi

It's twice as big as it needs to be! I'd call it "Expandability". Farhan Noor Qureshi
