yeah - I never thought a few years ago that I'd ever need Turbo C 2.01 again - until I was asked to knock up some programs on an old DOS machine which a seperate group needed to maintain for a while longer - this Borland site was a life-saver (on reflection there are other ways I might have been able to do this, but way back then when I was young and foolish.... (now I'm just foolish)) Glad to see this stuff is still there - it has its uses ..... 'G'

Turbo Pascal 5.5 - my favorite!:-D I wonder how it will behave running under Win2K?:suss: Some people think of it as a six-pack; I consider it more of a support group.

Man - talk about memories :) My first "professional" software package I bought was a student-priced version of Turbo-Pascal professional with OWL. It cost about $200 and came in a big box with like 8 manuals and a bunch of floppy disks. And the Turbo C++ was the first C compiler I bought. I still remember those Borland boxes. Really great link!

Speaking of antique software i've got an old P3 450 that i want to set up to run Syndicate Wars (the best game ever made!!!). Try as I might I just can't seem to satisfy it's archaic demands for memory managers. Sound also seems to be a sore point, anyone know of any guides to getting syndicate wars (and other such games of it's era - wc, wc exp, wc2, wc2 exp, flashback, another world, sam & max, day of the tentacle, monkey island 1&2) going? [worldspawn]
