Hi there, I'm trying to find the name of an arcade game I used 2 play when I was still kiddie size. I REALLY hope someone out there can give me the name of this game. I am now gonna attempt to describe it to you guys (well, what I remember of it anyways ): Ok, so, you were this oke in a red space suit, blue visor. The game had like a "side" view of this space man, and you ran around on different planets blowing up stuff with your gun, and picking up power-ups as you ran around. When you pressed the jump button, blue flames came out of his boots, and if you pressed the jump button again, he jumped even higher. When you moved from one planet to another after "finishing" a planet, and the game changed so that you had a "side" view of the space ship now. You had to fend off the bad okes until you got to the next planet, and then the fun started again. PLEASE !! Does anyone have any idea what this game's name was ? Thanks

Sounds vaguely familiar, but a lot of games have things that sound like your description. Did the planet have a common room with a number of doors, each leading to a room of monsters and power-ups. Ultraman or something like that comes to mind, but I'm not sure... ----------------------- New and improved: kwakkelflap.com My second CP article: MAP files[^] "Hey, Eddie, can I pour you a beer?" "A little early, isn't it, Richy?" "For a beer?" "No, for stupid questions."

I remeber playing that game. I was crap! My best arcade games were: Slap fight (Undisputed world champion - best score over 7,000,000) Tazmania - around 60 rooms in (the super mixed room * 20) Gauntlet (could go for ever on any character on standard food) I was pretty good at Hard drivin' Twin Cobra Track n' Field Hyper Sports I can't remember the names of the rest You are number one in the Orthema city! Roger Allen - Sonork 100.10016 Strong Sad: Clever I am? Next to no one. Undiscovered and soggy. Look up. Look down. They're around. Probably laughing. Still, bright, watery. Listed among the top. Ten. Nine. Late night. Early morn. Early mourn. Now I sleep.

That reminds me of the Mortal Kombat movie where they made an attempt to traslate the name into Chinese, and came up with 致命格斗 which according to my dictionary is "fatal fist-fight" ;) --Mike-- Personal stuff:: Ericahist | Homepage Shareware stuff:: 1ClickPicGrabber | RightClick-Encrypt CP stuff:: CP SearchBar v2.0.2 | C++ Forum FAQ ---- If my rhyme was a drug, I'd sell it by the gram.

I never really got into Virtua Racing... mostly because when UCLA got it in, they had the spiffy cockpit version and were charging $1 per game or something equally outrageous. It was also the most insanely ridiculously fast racer I've ever seen :omg::wtf::omg::wtf::omg:. Shame it didn't have staying power - it got really tedious.
