What do you mean? They already have Ultraman movies. That and the Power Rangers. Ah, yes, giant robots in America. But nobody does giant robot movies better than Japan.

Man, apartently someone doesn't agree with you! I do, though. It's stupid how Hollywood is desperately trying to make people think they can still tell a decent story when almost everything is just a rehash of an old TV show (and they usually do the original show no justice) or the umpteenth remake of another movie. Sure, many will say they can't tell an original story because every plot has been done to death (and maybe that's true), but there's only so many conflicts and ways to resolve those conflicts that people will actually like. What really irks me is that Hollywood demands such tight control over all this garbage when we've already seen it on TV over the last few decades. I'm not one of these people that totally boycotts Hollywood. I still go to movies for entertainment, but I stopped hoping for something new a long time ago and try to steer clear of TV remakes because they often poison my opinion of the original.
