Can anybody recommend a good tool for converting bitmap(.bmp) files to .xpm? I need to port a windows app to linux, therefore I need to convert the graphic resources to .xpm. Any suggestions/comments welcome. Tim

GraphicConverter. I have heard about it but not used it myself so apologies if it sucks. Download it here, English version. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass Cape Town, South Africa Do you Sonork? Thanks, but it appears that GraphicConverter only runs on a mac. I need to find a windows app that converts bmp to .xpm. What would be even better is an app that converts images in an .rc file to .xpm files. Kind regards, Tim

Ahh ok, well this app, Picture Exhibitor, I have never heard of before or tried but it claims it can convert bmp to xpm and vice versa. Tim Ranker wrote: an .rc file to .xpm files. That would be cool! Alas I doubt it, not too xpm at least. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass Cape Town, South Africa Do you Sonork? I always used xv for converting pictures between formats on *nix machines. I guess 3.10a is still the latest version, it haven't been updated for eons. Otherwise you could give ImageMagick a try but I personally prefer xv.
