The Age Project Bit of fun for a Sunday evening. TAP is a novel twist on the HotOrNot sites. In this one you view photos and guess how old the person is. You then get to see how close you were. I am horrendous at judging age and most people can't guess my own age very well either. Come on, post your photo and let us remove years from your life. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass South Africa Christopher Duncan quoted: "...that would require my explaining Einstein's Fear of Relatives" Crikey! ain't life grand? Perhaps dev's are just no good at this? I guessed a 23 year old chap was 28, and a 40 year old woman was 26 :~ . At that point I decided to leave the site, while I still had some dignity...

Perhaps I should use this site for practise, then I can avoid the mistakes I've made in the past... especially when it comes to guessing the age of women. I've caused a few tears in the past when slightly off the mark. Michael CP Blog [^]

          > I've caused a few tears in the past when slightly off the mark. Which is why you simply don't bring it up. Anyway, women don't have age; they are early-twenties, mid-thirties and none-of-your-damned-business :-D regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass South Africa Christopher Duncan quoted: "...that would require my explaining Einstein's Fear of Relatives" Crikey! ain't life grand? I have one answer that always works when asked to guess a womans age: 21. If she's younger, she's happy to look older. If she's older, she's happy to look younger. Works a treat :)

Don't forget that there are a lot of subtleties that help you determine someone's age. Voice, teeth, eye color, skin elacticity (around the eyes and mouth especially), body movement, conversation topics, etc. None of these individually are perfect indicators, but in their totality they can help greatly. However, from a single photo - especially many of those posed, dark photos, you're really at a disadvantage. Cheers, Tom Archer "Use what talents you possess.
