Cool, but they've been preselling this thing for fifteen years now. Even if I had the money, a pilot's license and a smaller sense of self-preservation, I'd still wait a few years for the daredevils to kill themselves in sufficient numbers as to fix most the problems. My wife's uncle is friends with Paul Moller (they went to school together). They see each other every year or so and apparently it's quite the sight to see his flying car in action (although I believe it has only flown tethered to a pole). I talked to the uncle about it a few years ago when it was on the cover of Popular Science. He said that Mr. Moller has received considerable funding from the U.S. Military to develop the Wenkle Rotary Engine he uses and has spent in the tens of millions of dollars developing his flying car. Cool, but I'm not sure I'd want to be cruising along at 350+ MPH. If I was the only one in the air, maybe not a problem, but get a few dozen of them even remotely close together and all the fun would end instantly.
