Combobox Limitation under Windows 98

I just heard there's a limitation under Windows 98 about the number of ComboBox that an application can create. I can't believe it! :confused: Did anyone of you heard about this. I searched the MS Knowledge Base but I didn't find anything yet. -- God bless the World

I don't know about any specific limitation about comboboxes. There is a fixed limitation on GDI Resources (64 kB) and User Resources (also 64 kB). Exceed this, and you will have a crash. Finding information on this is hard, but take a look at this under "Insufficient Windows System Resources". /moliate

Sorry, that applied to 16-bit Windows. Guess I answered that to quickly. :-O I'm rather sure that I've read something about Windows 95/98 keeping a 16-bit heap for GDI, though. I'll get back to you if I find out more.. /moliate
