    I have a drive formated w/ NTFS I had used In NT4. On XP I open explorer and right click the drive and opened the proprtety box and it says zero byte used and the pie is blue. I also opened up the MMC ver of NT4 Disk Admin and the list control says I have 3GB left on a 10GB drive(which I should) but when I right clicked the drive for the proprtety box and it still says zero byte used and the pie is blue. All file/dir had no access NTFS permisstions for all user execpt one use and I want to make the Sids vaild again. I have a screen shot of the mmc but no website let me know if you like me to email it to you to help w/ my problem. Real World Coding:      POP& BuyAPop(Money ADollar){...};

      Try using Partition Magic to convert your NTFS partition to FAT32 I think version 7.0 got released last week But version 6.0 will do just as well I guess Nish Sonork ID 100.9786 voidmain

        I had a error on startup and a to reboot and it asked if wanted to go into Safe mode I did and there was the Adminstrator account I log on and tried it out the proprtety box and there was the suricty tab and on the page there was on entry (I don't know what it meant) and I removed it. I added my username. Then logoff and back on as the user and dbclicked the dir and it open w/ all my data. I restarted and there is now some problem that make it restart in a loop and no safemode menu. I am now install XP again and will try this NTFS stuff later on... Could it be that you're more-or-less forced to "upgrade" everything and his mother to NTFS5.1? I wouldn't expect anything less from Microsoft.
