Just an open invitation to people if they want to play tonight. In around 90 minutes I will be on my favorite CS 1.5 server 195.177.244.131:27025 (see www.mortal-souls.com[^]) Its a UK server which kicks people with pings > 200. There are usually a few admins around ( @ MTS), so anybody who cheats and is not caught by the scripts gets kicked. Note also, that the server does not let you change your name while connected. So if you fancy a game, see you there later on. ps I play under the name [Sirius]RIGamortis. There may also be some of my other workmates there [Sirius]Feathers or [Sirius]Hopeless (although he's got a lot better). If you do turn up, please put a tag on your name such as [Bob] or [CP], so I can tell who you are! And no flames please! Luckily, the cube walls seem to be containing the threat, as no one has called HAZMAT yet :) I gave up on the C&C branch after Red Alert - how is Tiberian Sun? I play NWN occasionally, but I've been attached to my Xbox since I got it a few months ago...still wiring my apartment up for Xbox live.

TS and the TS Firestorm are good strategy games, but can become a little boring against the PC AI (once you have played them alot) They always seem to ally and just attack the human player after a set period, and also cheat under some circumstances: 1: They can build things quicker than a human 2: They can see things which they have not had a unit see. Dont try and play it on a high spec PC, no more than 1 Ghz really, as the AI opponents play so fast they storm into your base and destroy you before you can get going. :mad: On my home PC, an average game with 3 AI opponents lasts around 10 seconds. I hated Tiberian Sun. The C&C games have not done anything new is so long that I just lost interest after Red Alert. The Tiberian Sun game was the worst. I don't really play much of anything now. disclaimer: I haven't played Generals though it looked cool. I took my RTS to Warcraft III and geeked out on that for about 2 weeks. Much better. I have a fascination with ancient civ. though and may try and play Rome: Total War when it comes out. The news online said that the game is so excellent they're using it to display battles on a Discovery Channel special on Roman battles. Cool stuff. "In the beginning the Universe was created.
