Document Managment Systems
-
Any comments (recommendations) about document management systems? My needs are one that can be called securely from a web service. The web service may provide authorization to check in/out documents via a rules engine or if the system is customizable we could us it's authorization. But I doubt that many systems will be that friendly. It must support versioning and freezing versions and revision to prevent revs of that linage. I DO NOT NEED a work flow system! Potentially the file system it is written to would be a san system with backup and archiving. Individual file size is open but if it could handle 30GIG that would be a plus. I am assuming ones that size will have to be custom handled. I do not mind getting old. It beats all the other options that can think of.
