I would kill for good Indian food. And Thai. And Greek. And Italian. Come to think of it, I'd kill for anything other than deli meats and Wonder bread. I can't recall the last time I had a hot meal (not counting microwaved fare) at home. /ravi My new year's resolution: 2048 x 1536 Home | Articles | Freeware | Music ravib@ravib.com

(You might have been the one who suggested I take a 'Boston Duck Tour' ..) anyway, I'll be in Boston it seems, a week later than originally intended (as not to clash with July 4th Independance Day), so I'll be leaving Australia on 9th July ... Im quite happy to take you out for a feed (or even just a beer or coffee) - I think I have Sat & Sun fairly free ... See what you think anyway, I'll wait until the travel plans are finalised and if you want to send me contact details at some stage, great !! 'G'

Check your email for contact details. Looking forward to catching up with a fellow CPian! /ravi My new year's resolution: 2048 x 1536 Home | Articles | Freeware | Music ravib@ravib.com

That's about when I last ate there. It may not still exist, but it's worth hunting for.;) [EDIT] I just checked - it is still there, and on Northern, just as I recalled... Nice to know I haven't yet completely lost my mind. Jimbo's Fish Shanty[^] [/EDIT] Some people think of it as a six-pack; I consider it more of a support group.

Amazing, I've actually eaten @ Jimmy's (when I visited, eons ago)! Not much of a seafood eater - blasphemous for a Bostonian, I know - unless you extend the definition to Filet-O-Fish. Yum! /ravi My new year's resolution: 2048 x 1536 Home | Articles | Freeware | Music ravib@ravib.com

Thanks, Chris! I think I missed it the first time, but I look forward to trying it. I wonder if I can get real red curry paste here? And how am I going to get coconut milk? They don't have teats! Some people think of it as a six-pack; I consider it more of a support group.

Why don't you have a go at cooking it yourself Ravi? It's surprising what you can rustle up with a few basic ingredients and a bit of imagination. :-D Just stay well clear of Scampi Vindaloo, OK? Ah but what better incentive is there to drag you away from the screen than a stonking good curry? Anna :rose: Homepage | Tears and Laughter "Be yourself - not what others think you should be" - Marcia Graesch "Anna's just a sexy-looking lesbian tart" - A friend, trying to wind me up. a trip down memory lane - I never did get into Banana Splits though - I think these shows wouldnt take the interest of today's kids - by comparison they are fairly low-tech, although they had violence I guess it was presented with a softer glove - I'm not sure that the sophisticated shows kids watch today are more suitable mind you ... aint nothing wrong with Sesame Street etc either as learning tools ...
