FT0405 actually, after a while getting used to it it's quite nice - the absolute positioning is cool (even though some corners are badly reachable) and you can keep the pen while moving to the keyboard, so the switching between keys and pushing is less pain still, I am not sure why....

I've got the Wacom Graphire2. I love it. I want the "big one" but it's like $300 USD. I've recently gotten back into drawing. I usually sketch on a large piece of paper 28" x 22" or something. Then I'll trace it with a black pen. Then since i don't have a huge scanner use my roomates Canon digital SLR and take a picture. Then I use the Graphire2 to trace the picture on the computer and do coloring. Really cool. By the way, you may want to goto

Heh, i know how you feel - i've been trying to come up with an excuse to buy one for years, despite my complete lack of artistic talent or penmanship skills... maybe i'll just settle for a tablet PC. :-O

Yeah, I have been using a Graphire tablet as a mouse for somewhere around three years. Of course, when I am in Phothshop, the pen comes in handy, specially since it is pressure sensitive. Had the mouse part die about a year ago and bought a replacement. My wife and and I both love our pads if even just for a cordless, balless mouse. Rocky <>< www.HintsAndTips.com www.GotTheAnswerToSpam.com
