This is amazing. This crazy italian guy spent 15 years making a scale replica of a Ferrari 312. So what? Well, the completely home-made 12-cylinder engine actually runs, and the transmission works too (including reverse)! The guages and lights all work too! And so for me. Although I always try to use third-party software, I realize that I am using more and more software by MS. I started Windows programming with Borland C, now I develop with Visual Studio. At the beginning of the Internet hype I used RealPlayer, now I prefer Windows Media Player, and last but not least once there was a time I swore in Netscape Navigator... guess which browser I am currently using to edit this posting... It acts like a salesman with it's foot in the door. That sort of thing just p*sses people off. I do have it installed though, to watch some .ra files because I don't know of any alternatives. WMP 8 is great and is, IMHO much better than qt5 - I hate the whole thing. The way the carriage buttons always look disabled, the volume control, the stupid menu system etc. In fact, QuickTIme is in the UI hall of shame on some webstie. One thing I do prefer is that they always have the latest trailer etc. (see Star Wars EpII etc). -- Andrew.
