    While the term 'legend' is used all too readily these days, Ray Charles certainly fits the bill for me - I don't think that it was unexpected but still sad to hear that he has passed away[^] none the less.       legend is one jof the titles that should be awarded only posthumously - which gives the term "living legend" a special meaning :rose:

        Definitely a legend. No question. One of my favorite combinations of singer+song is Ray Charles performing "Georgia on my Mind"... I just love what he would do with that song. To Ray - :beer:
