I "found" this guy after watching the new remake of "Dawn of the Dead". Those who have seen the movie, it was the lounge-rendition of "Down with the Sickness". I immediately went on Amazon and bought three of his CDs, which arrived today. I am now a Cheesehead :) Richard Cheese and The Lounge Against The Machine[^]

I watched the movie too. But I was too busy wiping the blood specks out of my face to notice the background score. Will check him out :) "I believe I referred to her personality as a potential science exhibit." - Elaine, about Ellen, in "The Dog"

I've read articles in business magazines and such which time and time again seem to show that letting your employees listen to music while working does in fact increase their performance. I can't understand why a company would do that. Unless your working in general public where you have to interact with people I fail to see how music would be a bad thing. Cheers :) How do I print my voice mail?

Seriously. I can see how they might have a point against speakers since we have an open work environment (lab , sort of). But I really don't understand why there is a no headphone rule. I mean if someone is not working at all and spending all his time making sure his music settings are optimal I'm sure his boss would pull him up. Its just one of life's little tragedies. When I need a break I usually take a walk in the parking lot .. I'd prefer a cool song :sigh: "I believe I referred to her personality as a potential science exhibit." - Elaine, about Ellen, in "The Dog"

I bought some great noise cancelling headphones (they rock! I can't hear anything but music, but the neighbors can hear my bass). I listen to music while developing, surfing the web, and naturally posting replies on CP. Before school let out, I would also listen to music while doing my Pre-calc and Physics. My question is, is it possible to work without music? Aaron Eldreth TheCollective4.com My Articles While much is too strange to be believed, Nothing is too strange to have happened. - T. Hardy

That's good to know. I always feel like there is something missing if I am on my PC without music. Aaron Eldreth TheCollective4.com My Articles While much is too strange to be believed, Nothing is too strange to have happened. - T. Hardy
