Hi, I'm listening to Euro 2004 England France on bbc.co.uk They also have video highlights but the quality is very poor. I don't have coverage of the matches here in the US and it costs too much per match (about 20$). Anyone know a site where I can catch video hightlights. Don't mind paying for it. uefa.com has nothing. So much for paying 40 bucks to them last year. And they use realplayer. Well, we lost 2-1, in the last three minutes (of stoppage time as well), and as usual Heskey was the culprit - giving away a free kick that Zidane scored from. Why they continue to pick him for England I don't know. Ho hum. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Again. Regards, Barry

I've done one better than that - with my non-uniform application of sun lotion this afternoon I know have what with quite amazing clarity resembles the St. Georges Cross across my chest. It blends in nicely with my scarlet arms, legs and back. Yes David, go outside they all said, this spf 75 lotion will keep you safe. No I told them, I am ginger - any sun will burn me. Sigh, why am I so weak willed? I will be in pain for a week now. :(

Yikes! I don't image that's very pleasant. A friend and I went skiing towards the fag end of the season this year and he got burnt so bad (inspite of some lotion) as to get into the hospital for days ! Ah the advantages of melanin :-D ! Similar to the heartbreak I suffered when Italy collapsed in injury time (no I'm not Italian , but I've been their rabid supporter for over a decade now ) Plenty of positives to take away from the game though for England (esp. the performace of King in defence who seems to have exceeded all expectation) "I believe I referred to her personality as a potential science exhibit." - Elaine, about Ellen, in "The Dog"

Likewise. When I heard that we'd lost to France, I was rather pleased. If we get knocked out of the ball-kicking thingy and life can go back to normal without silly flags sticking up from people's windows, I'll be happy grump. Iain. ps. If only the germans had a word for schadenfreude...
