Off topic, but i saw an ad for tom daschel's re-election. I think he should resign. The impotence of him and the democratic party is ridiculous. They, like most elected officials today, aren't statemen, they only care about getting elected. I am sitting in my flame proof buncker, so don't even bother. by the way, perl stinks.

Interesting, but pretty much the same impression that I had before. You have a relatively small group of priveleged people who have made a deal with the devil to allow them to maintain power. The Saudi royals are about as far from a representative group as is possible. Unfortunately I think that the alternative to the present leadership there is even worse. Slightly OT. When I was in the military in the 80's I had occasion to be exposed to some of the people sent from here to the States for training. The impression that I got was of a group of people that were priveleged to the point that they were unable to take care of themselves. Generally the people they sent to the schools I attended (pretty technical) were not the sharpest tacks in the box. I recall a couple of case where the Shore Patrol had to respond (no kidding) to calls about some Arabs who had a prostitute and a german sheperd in the barracks. Not exactly what one might call stellar leadership material..... Uptight Ex-Military Republican married to a Commie Lib - How weird is that?

Yes, I program in VB, but only to feed my addiction to a warm place to sleep and food to eat!
