Ok, so when does the Gmail forum open? Am I the only person here who hasn't even visited the (I guess) gmail.com web site?

I have it but visit it rarely. I still use my corporate account. More space and more reliable. But for free email accounts I think its nice. "I believe I referred to her personality as a potential science exhibit." - Elaine, about Ellen, in "The Dog"

No, I haven't looked either. I have no desire for another email account. And certainly no need for 1 GB worth of spam storage. BW The Biggest Loser

There's three of us. I don't need gmail, and I don't want an "invite", whatever-the-hell that is... Nope. I haven't gone. I don't see what everyone is so excited about. If Hotmail (which I don't use) and Yahoo (which I have used in the past) are any indications, that 100GB will be used to store mostly spam. It's just a new domain that will allow the first few to have easier to remember names, but eventually, you'll have jeff12312376@gmail.com just like all the other free emails. I'd rather pay $45 a year to have my own domain and just be jeff at triple20software.com Jeff Martin Triple20 Software

I dont see why a person need 1GB for email, people use email for diffrent reasons but why have that email from joe-somebody who sent "hi Jason...." for years, just because you can? like you would go back to that email ever. I wonder how fast it can fill up woth spam someone test it. Lets open an account and bet how long it would take an account to fil up with spam winner gets that gmail account...haha

Five.. i still don't see why there is such a big deal about gmail. It's an online mail like hotmail right? Don't you get an email box with your ISP? Can't you get a dozen different free email boxes online. So why all the noise about gmail? I'm at a loss.
