Anybody going to the F1 "parade" around Regents street in London today? Monster, Mansell, Brundle, Coulthard and Button (plus others) will be there in this years cars. I'll be there having a look and listen. I am flying out on Saturday so can't make Silverstone unfortuanatley, but this should be a nice enough substitute. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass South Africa Ian Darling wrote: "and our loonies usually end up doing things like Monty Python." Unfortunately I'm stuck way up here in Dundee working. :( Ah well, London makes me twitch anyway (too crowded). Have fun, and let us know how it was!! -- "Time is an illusion, lunchtime double so." If you mean Dundee up in Scotland then I was there just last Monday. The central-square area is quite nice, had a fantastic steak pie and chips for lunch there. But I will be taking some shots of the cars this arvie and might post some if they are any good. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass South Africa Ian Darling wrote: "and our loonies usually end up doing things like Monty Python." Argh! Now you're tempting me... and I'm still recovering from the lack of sleep over the weekend!

I used to work in Dundee, seems like a lifetime ago I worked in NCR. I'd love to go too, but I'm in NYC. Gary
If it was a choice between Dundee and NYC then I'd go with NYC. Every experience I've had in Dundee has not been pleasant - so that may have tainted my view.

From what I've read so far a modern computer based analysis of the voting records of the Scottish Members of Parliament put only 13 (out of ~270) as naturally pro-union. The implication from the book title is that the rest of the necessary votes were bought. There was a lot of bribary and blackmail going on.

Got to St. Andrews then wanted to get to Stirling so went through Dundee and Perth. From Stirling I went to the east bank of Loch Lomond. Then from there up to Oban and over to Mull and all over that island (Lochbue was great, Tobermory was quaint). Then over to Lochaine and to Mallaig and onto the Isle of Skye where I visited Glenbrittle to see the Cuilin mountains. Then across the Skye bridge and to Invermoristen and Loch Ness. Up to Urqhuart castle and then down to Fort William, Ben and Glen Nevis and then through Glen Coe and Rannoch moor and to Crief for the Glenturret distillery. Then back to Edinburgh and off to Glasgow. It was all fantastic! Could spend months, years walking around Scotland before you see it in depth. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass South Africa Ian Darling wrote: "and our loonies usually end up doing things like Monty Python." Wow! You certainly managed to pack a lot into that visit. Paul Watson wrote: Could spend months, years walking around Scotland before you see it in depth That is true. I've lived here most of my life and I still haven't seen it all yet.
