Hello, I've received two important e-mails, and in those two e-mails I can see that outlook has blocked a .chm file for me... I need this file. Do you know any way in which I could get it without contacting again to the sender and asking her to re-send it? As always, thank you in advance.

Install a copy of Chilton Preview V1.8[^]into Outlook as a plugin - it works with all Outlook versions & adds a separate WIndow to your display in which you can access blocked files.:-D John Hudson Megan Forbes on Life's little accidents: Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night:~ :omg: http://www.rainbow-innov.co.uk[^]

On some versions of Outlook (pre XP) you could click on "forward" and the attachments would be there for you to save to disk in the little attachments field... they "Fixed" that on later versions I think... Definitely worth a try! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Shaun Austin: .NET Specialist. A quick fix might be to add a Level1Remove key to the outlook registry settings - google for outlook level1remove for info.

Outlook -> Options menu -> security tab. Uncheck "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that cold potentially be a virus." Signature under construction.
