is it just me or does the site load faster on linux? Just wondering since you went to debian, i took the initiative of adding slackware. Debian was having a fit with my video card. So i decided on slackware which is pretty sweet, i like it alot. I can believe it... Mozilla, FireFox, etc. are under active development and improving rapidly, while for all practical purposes, IE is dead until Longhorn. I only have anecdotal evidence, as I don't run a website or keep and stats like that, but by random observation in the office, "alternative" browsers (mostly FireFox) probably make up at least 20% of what people are using. Once the "link" and "quote" buttons when responding to messages in CodeProject work under FireFox, I'm switching completely. :) "Fish and guests stink in three days." - Benjamin Franlkin

1% MSIE 5.5I think MS is not bothered with IE anymore as they feel longhorn is going to create a huge wave on that front, serving xaml from the server. Off course they would support the latest standards and all that when longhorn is released but i think its just not on their radar anymore.

This wouldn't be completely shocking. I mean, I know it's not going to have a big impact, but the fact that the Department of Homeland Security is urging citizens to dump IE because of security factors will probably have some affect especially in government and large corporations that follow like sheep.
