Any opinions on this bad boy[^]? I'm renewing my phone plan back home and as part of this they pretty much throw in a phone. Bluetooth, MMC card, MP3 player, 4 mins of video capture, Java, speakerphone, stereo FM radio. And it allows you to make phone calls. cheers, Chris Maunder

I have a friend using this. I played for a while and felt a bit uneasy about the 5 direction navigation button. Sometimes, i couldn't control the angle of pressing and end up pressing other directions instead of center. Maybe it is just me. :) Weiye Chen Life is hard, yet we are made of flesh...

That phone may draw me back to Nokia - if I can get over losing MSN on my phone :)

An Orange SPV E100[^] (fortunately most things on the phone run off XML, so my "desktop" has now been customised and looks nothing like the ugly version on that site). There's a newer model, the E200, which has bluetooth, but as far as I can tell it only works with their bluetooth handsfree kits and nothing else. When my contract is up in December (the UK contracts are only 12 months long) I'll have to take a good look at the latest SPV offerings against the latest Nokia offerings :)

Yeah thats funny my friends and I were just saying the same thing, seems they've loaded to the hilt with features but overlooked the simple features that count. ;)

Fortunately, the SMS alert sounds are really nice on my new T610, but on T300 there was only the "click" and the terrible loud beep, which completely ignored the sound volume settings. Rado

I've had one for a couple of months now and like it. I wasn't bothered about a camera when I bought it: I wanted a bluetooth phone which is why I switched. Having said that, I'm finding that the camera takes pretty good snaps and is being used a lot! The 5 way navigation button did take a bit of getting used to at first, but now I've used it a while I'm very comfortable with it. There is a known problem with some if you charge them without switching them off: you need to reset the date/time. I just charge mine with it switched on to avoid this problem: the battery life is pretty good. Debbie
