Is it me or do Christian supporters suddenly appear whenever their is a religious post in the lounge? They disappear as soon as these posting stop. Is there a coalition that scours the internet for religion discussions and sends representatives to intervene?

God probably has a few people scouring the net for disbelievers. That would account for the bad spelling/grammar in such posts. Simon Hey, it looks like you're writing a letter! Sonork ID 100.10024

Henry-- Rats! We've been found out! Yes there is such a society. And we get paid. $5/rebuttal message. $10/dialogue. If you get the person to go to Church on Sundays you get a bonus of free Internet for the month. An alter call will get you a weekend at Cancun. A baptism... well that gets you a 1 year lease on a Mazda Protege. If you get caught using boiler plate however, you have to go hang out on the Internet equivalent of the old FidoNet board called Holy Smoke. Yikes! Epsicopalians pay best. The Catholics are the cheapest (I guess Bingo is slow these days). JM

Well, if a discussion started on politics, I'm sure as many people who lurk but don't feel able/willing to discuss programming yet would present their views. Christian After all, there's nothing wrong with an elite as long as I'm allowed to be part of it!! - Mike Burston Oct 23, 2001

   a very funny observation. Though majority of those who appear and disappear are christian supporters, a few muslim supporters appear and disappear as well when the topic is islam. We are like virus shield programs, waiting in the background. We have to protect God from all sorts attacks especially from people justifying other beliefs. But who will protect God from white washed toombs and generation of vipers? I mean, the hypocrites and the self-righteous? A vast number of religious supporters fit that description. Its time to disappear.

Well, the true Christians use Honda, because they are with one Accord. Of course, they will not kill you for insulting them or God, it is not their responsibility to protect God or fight for God. He is strong enough. However, they have responsibility to inform and educate not because they know but that the Holy Spirit will use the channel to reach out to the lost souls. Best regards, Paul. Well, my guess is that, there are a lot of lazy people here, who are normally too lazy to post, but the moment they observe a religion-thread, they are spurred or instigated enough to join the thread, and by the time they are finished with the thread, they are too exhausted to take part in any of the other threads, thus remaining invisible till another religion-thread starts, and the entire cycle is repeated. Actually, the key point should be "- just so long as they don't try to force their beliefs onto everyone else". Separation of Church and State is the cornerstone of modern society. We really need to make it clear that religion cannot be confused with governance. And god doesn't help athletes win gold medals, and actors win oscars. No really, he doesn't!! It's fun watching them run round in circles for three hours before the mindless name calling starts. Yes they do normally end in a vicious cycle of name calling. Except Mr Graus - tough nut to crack! I still think you're too damn smart and logical to *really* be a christian, Christian. ----------------------------- "I leave no turn un-stoned." - John Simmons, Nov 6 2001 -----------------------------

I haven't seen my commission yet... It's in the mail. Of course, you can choose to 'roll over' any accrued benefits into our "afterlife-plus" package, which guarantees you access to the best cloud-top real estate in heaven (prices so cheap they're a steal! - oops, we mean 'bargain'). And a 'good for all eternity' ticket to our latest musical extravaganza "Dad and Jesus - keeping it in the family" (includes backstage pass and voucher for 10% off a JesusBurger and Coke). Of course, all new arrivals to heaven go into St. Peter's draw for our "lucky door prize" - this month's gift is a pass to see the taping of [Muslims look away now...] "Allah McBeal"! ----------------------------- "I leave no turn un-stoned." - John Simmons, Nov 6 2001 -----------------------------
