I managed 40 meters before losing interest. In real life, though, I've made 4+ miles after closing, in snow, in the mountains, around a small icy lake. They tell me it was foggy, too, but it seemed perfectly clear to me.:-O "My kid was Inmate of the Month at Adobe Mountain Juvenile Corrections Center" - Bumper Sticker in Bullhead City

Snow, pah! Mountains, hah! Icy lakes? Please! I managed to get from West Hampstead in north London to East Putney in south London on night buses at three in the morning while so drunk I simply handed the bus drivers my wallet and let them fish out the right amounts. I couldn't even remember where my B&B was and had to tell people "I need to get where all the South Africans live". Snow, rain, ice, wind and hale are nothing compared to cold Londoners hell bent on avoiding the drunk South African spread across three seats loudly declaring his intention never to drink again. :P regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass South Africa Ian Darling wrote: "and our loonies usually end up doing things like Monty Python."  touche! a 5 for you, tigress. Actually the bus drivers are incredibly helpful in London. I doubt I would be half as patient and helpful if my job was driving from midnight to noon delivering drunks, scrooges, yobs and louts around the city for a couple of p. Two weeks ago I got horribly drunk with the same friend in West Hampstead and had to repeat my night bus journey. One driver gave me a free ride because I just needed to go a few blocks, another patiently kept reassuring me for 15 stops that the upcoming stop was not mine while another stopped the bus at my stop without me having rung the bell and then yelled back to where I was lying on a seat "Sir, your stop!" regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass South Africa Ian Darling wrote: "and our loonies usually end up doing things like Monty Python."
