There's this informercial going on Swedish TV right now for this futuristic grill[^]. Am I totally wrong when claiming that it looks like it's got a Star Trek/Voyagerish design? :~ I'm almost tempted to buy it, eventhough I wouldn't use it that much. -- Ich bin Joachim von Hassel, und ich bin Pilot der Bundeswehr. :omg: That is a grill ?! If it weren't for the all food shown on it I would never have recognized it for what it is. As it is I suspect its some kind of copier-printer with some meat thrown on it :) "One of the Georges," said Psmith, "I forget which, once said that a certain number of hours' sleep a day--I cannot recall for the moment how many--made a man something, which for the time being has slipped my memory."

The Grill actually beams the food to a restaurant where it is cooked to perfection. It is then beamed back for your dining pleasure... Steve

I bet the burgers would be done pretty darn fast with a phaser.. :) Just don't use the photon torpedos if you want the meat near where you are going to eat. ;) -- Ich bin Joachim von Hassel, und ich bin Pilot der Bundeswehr. Welle: Erdball - F104-G Starfighter

So it's like a temp solution using transporters until they've figured out the replicators? :) -- Ich bin Joachim von Hassel, und ich bin Pilot der Bundeswehr. Welle: Erdball - F104-G Starfighter

The problem with the Replicators (ref Stargate SG1) is that they keep reproducing using the food as building material. :sigh: Steve
