Futuristic grill

There's this informercial going on Swedish TV right now for this futuristic grill[^]. Am I totally wrong when claiming that it looks like it's got a Star Trek/Voyagerish design? :~ I'm almost tempted to buy it, eventhough I wouldn't use it that much. -- Ich bin Joachim von Hassel, und ich bin Pilot der Bundeswehr.
