Any links for a good source of public domain emoticons? I plan to be building a messaging system over the next month or so and would love to find a set to use without legal ties. Any ideas? Rocky <>< www.HintsAndTips.com www.MyQuickPoll.com www.GotTheAnswerToSpam.com

I cannot believe someone is actually looking for emoticons :) Everywhere I turn on the seedy streets of the web I find sites offering downloads of free emoticons (along with spyware and such of course) Anyway I just thought it was funny "One of the Georges," said Psmith, "I forget which, once said that a certain number of hours' sleep a day--I cannot recall for the moment how many--made a man something, which for the time being has slipped my memory."

Yeah, I thought I would find collection of hundreds somewhere online, but most of the stuff is restricted to non commercial use or requires links on your site. Rocky <>< www.HintsAndTips.com www.MyQuickPoll.com www.GotTheAnswerToSpam.com

There's an idea.. Contest.. Actually, after I get the system up and running I was thinking about one. Just needed something to start with. The ForumImages.com site looks like it might do for that. Like the smiles with santa hats. The large aqua smilies are pretty cool, but not to good for messages ;) Rocky <>< www.HintsAndTips.com www.MyQuickPoll.com www.GotTheAnswerToSpam.com

Thanks! Will check into it. Did not see anything about licensing but will dig further. Rocky <>< www.HintsAndTips.com www.MyQuickPoll.com www.GotTheAnswerToSpam.com
