Hi guys (and girls) I just got a subscription probe from the MFC list, and that made me remember that I haven't gotten (OK, old one, sorry) any post from that list in a loooong time - what happened to it? Did everybody go to CodeGuru and then on to CodeProject? Or is it because B. ekiM is out of MFC business so the list died from lack of abuse? Cheers Steen. If Pacman had influenced children born in the 80'ies we would see a lot of youngsters running around in dark rooms eating pills while listening to monotonous music"

According to http://microsoft.ease.lsoft.com/archives/mfc.html. The list is closed to new postings at the moment. Conspiracy Theory nuts will say it is part of Microsoft’s attempts to kill C++ and move everyone over to C#. :-) Michael :-)

Funny thing is that even thought Chris and CP are pro-.NET, Chris seems to want to push MC++ rather than C# which is what MS themselves want to push Nish Sonork ID 100.9786 voidmain www.busterboy.org If you don't find me on CP, I'll be at Bob's HungOut

Hmm... Microsoft do have a very alternative definition of "moment" - it's been closed since July 2001! Maybe that explains why MS products are not seldom late - Balmer: "I want this product finished NOW!" Developer: "It'll be finished in a moment" Cheers Steen. I haven't been subscribed to the list for a year or so now. The ATL list is still very much alive, so I'm guessing it is a policy decision rather than a technical fault. Any one from MS care to give an official explantation? Michael :-)
