So, how's saturday been treating you so far?

Made myself a fresh pasta sallad, chilled on the sofa watching movies on the TV, scratched my butt a couple of times, had an interesting discussion on ICQ, scratched my butt once more, and then I ended up here. Anyone drunk in the audience? (It is saturday night and it's summer after all. Or perhaps you're still out there.. I bet Paul is. Taking his last post into account, I figured he's mind bogglingly drunk by now. Should be transitioning to mind blowingly drunk real soon now :)) -- Denn du bist, was du isst! Heh, watch out with the use of the bugs bunny character. You may get a letter from WB's lawyers telling you to CEASE AND DESIST. :) So, is it an open source thing, private pet project or a thing you do for a customer/employer? -- Denn du bist, was du isst! Got up early but can't remember what I did in the morning. Had lunch at my favorite Chinese restaurent and then slept the whole afternoon away (nearly four hours) Now feel superbly rested with nothing to do. Got Ju-on 2 on my desk but too freaked to watch it :-D Think I might catch Collateral tonite. Or maybe I'll go for a looong walk in the valley "One of the Georges," said Psmith, "I forget which, once said that a certain number of hours' sleep a day--I cannot recall for the moment how many--made a man something, which for the time being has slipped my memory."

You and I both brother :) (Well, I did skip my social ineptibility chores for a couple of hours, but I did what any other geek would've done; I watched some TV) -- Denn du bist, was du isst! Und ihr wisst, was es ist! Es ist mein Teil...?

I got up at about 6:20 (alarm went off at 6, hit snooze a couple times), had some cereal, then at 7 went out for a bike ride. Got home at about 10, talked to the manger who was having a garage sale out front (you can buy her 10-year-old Mac Performa with printer if you hurry!!!). The afternoon is a bit fuzzy (I'm always worn out after a long ride) but I remember watching the X Games. I totally want to do inline vert... if I start now I might be good enough for the X/Gravity Games by age 35. X| Now I'm about to watch a MSDN TV episode, then it's a Dodgers game at 7 PM. Its a japanese horor movie. Jap horror movies are like a billion times better than their lame English counterparts. Ju-on is being remade in English actually. But the japanese versions are faaar better. google it and check it out. I play about 3 hours a day (badminton and tennis usually) and on weekends I play soccer with some guys. But they've gone out somewhere this weekend so missing that. Not bad today. I have been fighting a sinus infection, could not breath (with the nose) last night at all. So far tonight, wonderful! Ah the simple things in life :) For Lunch my daughter and I made a Shrimp/Salmon coctail thing (kind of like Kevichi (sp?), again some of the nice things in life. :) Waiting for Who's Line Is It to come on. I do not mind getting old. It beats all the other options that can think of.

Worked all day, and having ordered Szechuan for lunch, I never had a chance to eat lunch. Crispy spiced chicken doesn't reheat well, I'm afraid...:( Since work caused me to miss yet another belt test, I'm feeling rather cross and very much in favor of following Paul's sterling example. Being 9 hours behind him, however, I probably will need a couple of hours to catch up. Nah, that's what the evenings are for ;) Besides, as you said, biking when the sun is out and the temp is hot isn't always pleasant. In fact, when I left my apartment, it was totally fogged in down at the beach. It was like Turok on the N64, where the draw distance was so short that they put a wall of fog about 10 feet in front of you to hide the pop-in. ;) You can read about my biking adventures here[^]!
