Feeling bored,

My site is first (w00t), followed by a whole wodge of other "Ian Darling"s who aren't me: An editorial writer An Ombudsman at some college somewhere in London A Sydney investment banker Some other Aussie guy playing sports A guy who did a film on Warren Buffett Some guy who does some sort of vampire roleplaying Another Aussie who does "Waste Management" :~ A member of the "Culbin singers" in Scotland A chartered surveyor A "Dawson Creek Municipal Airport Manager" Some guy involved with the UK's Countryside Agency A prosecutor for a case involving two men related to the Stephen Lawrence murder The Chief Executive of Tynedale Housing Limited in Northumberland. The guy who wrote the book "Go Ask Dad" A guy who wrote a paper called "Action Evaluation and Action Theory: An assessment of the process and its connection to conflict resolution" A professor at "Wilfrid Laurier university" A load of people who'd written "Ian Darling", meaning "Ian, Darling" And then I got bored and stopped. But at least I'm the Real, Most Important, Ian Darling ;P

8 of the first 9 links are to my stuff (or references to it) on Code Project. Do I never do anything else?

I'm not dumb enough to put my details on the Web ;P (Paranoid? Yes. :)) That's probably why I've got something about an American who dares to have the same name I have. If he knew that, the poor guy...

I just get my CP articles, information on the Brummer wreck, a german ship that sank, and something about brummerpants.:omg::confused::~ (The last one is definitely not work-safe)

First place is some provessor in the States, but my CodeProject profile is second with one of my articles, and my homepage is sixth.

A seach for Bruce Duncan returns www.robertbruceduncan.com. What makes this strange is that my middle name is Robert :omg:
Searching the web without Google is like straining sewage with your teeth.

Dude, that's a lot of the word "nude" in your results. Dude, what have you been doing? ;P

Well, the Andy Grifith nude is nothing compared to those pants. I just can't imagine what the word brummer has to do with anything like that.:~ X|

Why am I not even remotely surprised. :)

It must be my wild and wacky personality. Seriously though, I'm sure it's got a lot to do with the fact that so many people use my site as a source of support information. It's become a big part of my life, and the fact that hostility from my ex is threatening it is causing me great pain at the moment. I don't even know if it will still be there in 3 months time. Last week I posted an entry in my journal titled "This could well be the last public entry I write here" to tell everyone a little of what's happening. Since I have, I've been receiving goodwill messages...and messages of sadness. This morning I woke up to find a beautiful comment[^] posted in my journal by Real Live Preacher[^]:
Real Live Preacher wrote: Anna, The emails we exchanged long ago have stayed in my mind. I think of you whenever I consider the vast numbers of people who find themselves outside of the church. The church is not God and not even close. God sees you with eyes and understanding that no one can imagine or understand. peace and Godspeed,
I think that short message says it all. No matter what I struggle with, I am truly Blessed. :rose: Anna :rose: Homepage | Tears and Laughter "Be yourself - not what others think you should be" - Marcia Graesch "Anna's just a sexy-looking lesbian tart" - A friend, trying to wind me up.
