We had a teacher who called every student Master <insert last name here>. Poor guy whos last name was Bates --- It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
We had a student PE teacher at school for a term, who was called Mr. Bates. Of course, with a group of 14 year olds, everyone called him Master Bates. I had a drivers-ed teacher, he had been adopted. He kept his first name Harry, and took his adopting parents name Wang :-O That wasn't the worst... His wifes name was Anita :omg: None of us believed it until he showed us a wedding invitation
