This is wierd

For some reason I am not able to access this site from my computer while on my Comcast internet connection, I get a 500 error. But I am able to connect to it (as I am now) if I VPN into the work network. I've checked all the security settings I can think of, I've removed my firewall and virus protection software (McAfee) and still nothing. I've installed Firefox to see if it might be an issue with IE only, but the same thing happens. I'm able to ping the site (www.codeproject.com). As far as I can tell, it's only happening with this site, I can access any other sites that I try to reach. Does anybody know of something I might check to see what's going on?

Well, I don't know what I've done but it seems to be working now.

I'm having the sae problem. My office here in west michigan uses Earthlink DSL and I get the same 500 error all day on it. As soon as I get home with DirecWay it works just fine.

Every once in a while one of the servers goes down. If you get routed to the down system, you will continue to be sent to the down server. You can either connect from another client system and probably get one of the servers that is working, or try an alternate url such as www.thecodeproject.com, or connect to webn.codeproject.com until you find a working server. That is, until Chris and the crew beat the down server back into submission. [edit]n is a number 1-9[/edit]
