Has anyone had a clean uninstall of the sp2 ? I ran the uninstall and now face many problems (i.e. video drivers, mouse drivers, stability). I have never had a problem as big as this with MS Software, but this sucks. SP2 took over my comp. , and now it won't leave, or at least on its way out it did some damage. Thanks Microsoft.

What problems did you have with SP2 installed? I installed it the other day (was smaller than I expected), have had no problems at all. The popup stopper is a little proactive at times ... Same here. No problems at all with SP2. Heck, even if I did, I would just use my image backup to restore my old copy of XP2. The number of people who don't plan for "SP2 screwed up my system" is shocking. Tim Smith I'm going to patent thought. I have yet to see any prior art.

I really like SP2 as well. I think it's new security advice features will save me a lot of time fixing other people's mum's computers! Joel Holdsworth

I'm not even going to bother upgrading to SP2 at work until I have some time over for handling possible mishaps. That'll happen sometime in 2006. :sigh: -- ...Coca Cola, sometimes war...
