Looks like Florida is going to get nailed again. Ivan was heading for the Gulf of Mexico for the last three days, then whamo, when I looked this morning at the projected path, it's aimed right at Florida via Cuba! I guess my prediction that it would move further north than anticipated turned out correct. Don't know whether that's good or bad! Although, if it keeps pushing further east, maybe Florida will get lucky. Marc MyXaml Advanced Unit Testing

Do they have Saddam or Osama as hurricane names ? that would be really, well, ironic, if Saddam would hit Florida, after Frances ...

Those of us that live in Central Florida have had enough. I got lucky with Charley and came through without a scratch. My home sustained minor damage (soaked carpet in one bedroom) with Frances. I really don't want to think about what another hit is going to do to us.

I'm more worried about the folks from my part of the world, namely Jamaica. A category 5 hurricane hit to our island will not be a pretty scene :( .:. Keno .:.

Rick i am right there with you. I work in Kissimmee, which is right next to Walt Disney World and live in Eustis, about 50 miles north. Charley really didn't do anything to me. Frances has had me up on my roof every day after work since it hit. Lots of missing shingles and I really don't want to see any more hurricanes. I bought a Dell XPS gaming system, started a fan site, and never looked back.

I work at WDW and live in Clermont. Good look in the next one. It's still 4 days away, so maybe we'll get lucky.
