Anyone know if there is a log file somewhere for Add/Remove Programs. I have a pc where someone removed some programs and now it isn't working well. He doesn't remember what he removed. *no it wasn't me* :) thanx If there's one thing I've learned, it's that life is one crushing defeat after another until you just wish Flanders was dead. - Homer Simpson

If the programs used Windows Installer, you'll see events in the Application event log (Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer). If not, you might find some logs in the user's Temp directory. This isn't standard, though. Stability. What an interesting concept. -- Chris Maunder
