It is weird but our salesmen have amazingly singed up a whole bunch of projects over the last few weeks making our Christmas period busy rather than the usual slow down. So I will definitley be working this christmas. Not only that but I am writing an MCSD exam in early Jan and I need to study for that. So all in all a busy christmas. And yes, that includes actually coming into our offices about every day. No going home with a laptop for me, the infrastructure is just not good enough at home. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass Cape Town, South Africa Do you Sonork? I have a bunch of stuff to do to ResOrg which I've been putting off for a while so some of that might get done, but apart from that the only thing I'm likely to be using my laptop for is chatting to friends... :) Andy Metcalfe - Sonardyne International Ltd

Nope - we all got the week off. I am going to spend time with my kids, and when they are in bed, I'm going to be playing with image filters ( my current side project ). I finally got a swirl filter happening the other day - that's been like the Holy Grail for me for AGES. A whole lot of lights came on during my late nights sessions this week...... Some people would pay money for that experience. I've tried in the past at Christmas not to use my computer at home. I did manage five days before the desire to read my email got the better of me. This year I'll probably keep the computer switched off on Christmas Day and the day after (Boxing Day in England - not sure what the rest of the world calls it). After that I'll be playing a couple of computer games, a bit of coding and probably reading CodeProject. Michael :-)

I have some personal programming stuff I'm going to be doing, but not "work" work. I have a horde (if 30-40 can be considered as a "horde") of users that are eager to see what I'm gonna break in my apps next. :) "...the staggering layers of obscenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - Jason Jystad, 10/26/2001

I won't be working. Christmas and the Monday before are paid holidays. In fact, the boss will be "forcing" us out of the office this afternoon, after our department watches National Lampoon's "Christmas Vacation". :) The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

I'll be like almost all of the others. Working but not necessarily "Work" related. I've got lots of little things I'll be doing such as Learning More about .net. Working with Crystal more. (Ok, so that one IS company related). And the invariable, gee, you know computers, can you work on my? (Ok, my folks, kind of a little bit obligated). I've only got one day off so it wont really matter anyways. Happy Holidays, Nick :)
