            With IE, there is a link [^] button in the toolbar (below the text field), which "linkifies" an URL selected in the Text box. Recently, this is done automatically for links posted. And yes, if you are on other browsers, you are expected to type that in. At least I expect this :cool:

                    Naw, Mozilla users expect everyone else to be able to browse one-handed by clicking their middle mouse button to open links in new tabs. [^] is for plebs stuck with IE...

                        I was a Netscape zealot in the early days, but more than anything, I think that a path forward can only involve standardisation. Perhaps it's true that IE does a bad job in implimenting W3C standards, perhaps other browsers do that better. But in the world where I live, we spend as much time trying to accomodate the 1% of non IE users whose browsers won't render things nicely as we spend building the rest of the app, and that plain sucks. But in the world where I live, we spend as much time trying to accomodate the 1% of non IE users whose browsers won't render things nicely as we spend building the rest of the app, and that plain sucks.
