One of my posts (thread) has disappeared!!

I was trying to go back to a post that I had made not that long ago and so I went to my profile and clicked on the messages link. I had only one post concerning that thread (though I know I made at least 4 or 5) and the only one is a reply to my original post which doesn't exist any more. Anyone have this happen to them? Are threads being munched? Just curious and glad I hadn't deleted the reply emails that CP sent me. For completeness, the only post that still exists is the following link: eroding post[^]. That alien brain of his can store an awful lot of data, but there comes a point in every alien's life where they just seem to forget random pieces of information. I'm sorry to say it, but the poor little guy's starting to show his age :( Well, either that or someone sneezed on the keyboard with just enough force to press the delete key for a little while... ;P
