Can I just say ARRRRRGH!! I hate doing family tech support, because I can't put them on hold and vent some frustration. Today wasn't that bad - I just hooked up the photo printer that I got for my mom - but I've had some pretty rough days in the past. Yep - had 1 x computer setup (box, monitor, peripherals and network) and 1 x scanner + tuition. Still - half an hour of messing with wires for a few days of free accomodation and all the Christmas pudding I could eat is a pretty good deal. cheers, Chris Maunder

OK Chris since you are so technically minded, being able to set up a whole Computer on your lonesome. :-) Can you answer this ? Why do monitors etc still have "fuses" ? Why don't they have failproof thermic cutouts ? It beats me why this old technology still is used. Is it simply co$t ? Hope the pudding was tasty ! Regardz Colin J Davies
