Wow, I leave you guys alone for two days *twitch* and you totally loose the plot in the Lounge. Typical! :-D Merry Christmas, btw. So what did Santa leave under your tree this year? I, thankfully, did not get any aftershave, though I did recieve a bottle of "Peachnut Shampoo". How odd, I don't strike myself as a Peachnut type. Do you? Other than that I got the Gorillaz CD, absolutely brilliant! Love their music. Also got a fully illustrated Terry Pratchett novel which is great. So come on! Pray do tell what you got? regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass Cape Town, South Africa Do you Sonork? Well.......don't snigger too much.... An answer phone :-D Some cufflinks :( A new shirt :( Some lynx aftershave :( (sigh) Some plastic chewy sweets. :-D For the first time, we hosted the christmas day meal/party/etc at my house instead of my parents. I think my mum liked not having to cook and wash up for a change! And we didn't get food poisoning. Paul Watson wrote: totally loose the plot in the Lounge Is this some kind of detective story? Or are we making a drama out of a web site? ;P Roger Allen Using his mates account.

Even though I'm back at work, I'm still drooling over one particular beauty that my wife got me for Christmas. For the man who has everything, I guess. Anyways, my wife has purchased for me a one-day clinic to attend at the Mosport Driver Development Centre. The Mosport racing facility is an internationaly recognized race track where several major North American series hold annual events. Up until about '76 or '77, the Canadian Grand Prix used to be held at this track. But, I will get to spend several hours in a classroom learning how to drive a Formula Reynard F2000 car. After which I will get two 20 lap sessions of driving around the Mosport race track. These F2000 cars have 2 litre engines, are open wheeled, and sport racing suspensions, slick tires, with front and rear wings. This won't happen until some date in spring, but I don't think I'll get any sleep until it's all over. I can already picture exiting Moss corner in 1st gear and then accelerating up through the gears to 5th, all the while climbing the hill up the back straight known as the Andretti straight and then stomping on the brakes to slow from about 140 mph down to about 80 to enter a complex of infield turns. I'm like an 8 year old with a new soap box derby car :) And my three daughters are planning on taping this great event, so there should be some pictures and maybe movies clips for viewing later in the year. Happy New Year to everyone. Chris Meech

The fat bastard only went and left a pile of frigging reindeer sh*t on my living room floor again. Next year I'm laying traps... I reckon old Saint Nick is in leage with the devil himself - the CEO of British Telecomunications, aka the "Let's piss off David over Christmas" club. As you can tell, BT was not kind to me this holiday. However, I was lucky enough to get presents from my family and friends - mainly clothes, but also a few cheques and brown paper envelopes stuffed (well, almost) with cash. Alas I still got the compulsory deoderant and packet of socks, even though they will be useful. This year I even got an English dictionary from my Grandmother. I keep telling you - it's not that I can't spell, it's just that someone keeps rearanging the keys on my keyboard! ________________ David Wulff http://www.davidwulff.co.uk "I loathe people who keep dogs. I'm with you, Christian. I don't wait for the fat bastard - don't have a chimney, in any case. So I bought my own. Built a Win2K Server for the den -P4, 1.8GHz,512MB,60MB HDD - it should make an adequate word processor. Oh, and since tomorrow's my birthday, I treated myself to a new .380 Auto pistol - never know when Santa might find another way in!
