Hi All, I was looking to update from VS6 to VS2003 but I was told at one point that my code would then require XP ( latest MFC , etc ) to run. Is it possible to use VS 2003 but still compile a project so that it still runs on windows 95/2k, etc? without having to package a pile of new libs with it. Is it just a matter of linking in the project settings? Could anyone point me in the right direction as to how to set this up. Thanks for the help. -Rick

However, if your VC 6 code uses the DLL version of MFC, be aware that the MFC 7 DLLs aren't as commonplace yet like mfc42.dll is, so more people will have to get those DLLs, either from your installer or MS. --Mike-- Personal stuff:: Ericahist | Homepage Shareware stuff:: 1ClickPicGrabber | RightClick-Encrypt CP stuff:: CP SearchBar v2.0.2 | C++ Forum FAQ ----
