I know some of you had helped me with researching a TV that I was looking to buy. It was extremely hard picking between a rear projection and a DLP. I did not go with a plasma due to the fact that it was just to expensive to get a 50". So I just did not know what to get and I did some reading and looked in the Consumer Report and the Consumer Report said that this was the second best tv out there. So this is what I decided to get: My New TV :) Thank you everyone for all of your advice. I love this TV, it is just awesome!

Wow, very nice! My father-in-law recently bought this Sharp 37" LCD[^] TV, but I haven't been impressed with the picture quality of standard cable channels. The two or three HD channels they have come in beautifully but the rest actually look fuzzier than on their older TV. :~ Regards, Alvaro

lol  I was waiting for you to pop up and make some type of remark. I have nothing to say, we were beat and we were beat well. I still have faith, but its not time to just sit back and see what happens. (It was alittle tougher to watch on the 50" ;) ) Ralph

I am surprised that is fuzzy. I heard the LCD's are clearer than plasma. I thought it was the same as the computer monitors? The sporting events were a bit fuzzy but nothing to complain about. I am just waiting for HDTV. Everyone says that it is amazing I have never seen it so I am interested to see what its like.

I got a 42" plasma about 13 months ago ( wish I had waited the price has really dropped ) and its really hard to watch those little dinky 32" or 35" inchers anymore. Yes I also need to thank everyone for helping me get my TV as well.... Although in the end I ended up on eBay, and found a Sony 28" from a guy in the next street for £120. Absolute bargain! Joel Holdsworth
