Is it just me or are more and more popups getting past the google blocker? I just reinstalled it about 2-3 months ago so I think I have fairly uptodate version. How do I print my voice mail?

I find the same thing, although it must stop a fair few - currently it says "52888 blocked". I wonder if that's possible - I'm sure I don't surf that much! :~

Google in combination with IE XP SP2 seem to block everything. Sadly, I few are now getting through the latest version of Mozilla. Michael CP Blog [^]

Yep, either the popup blocker in FireFox 1.0pr, or the advertisers have figured out new popup techniques. Not one single popup has gotten past IESP2 for me, nor did any get past any previous version of FireFox. I particularly think there is a problem "when the page closes do the popup" popups in FireFox, as I always notice them just after closing a tab and I can't remember what site it was. Chris.

Mind you, I'm not running any unusual hardware or software configurations. Both machines are Dell's and haven't had any hardware upgrades from the original build. I have on app that used a non-standard TCP port, but once the firewall had been told to allow it, there have been no problems. Michael CP Blog [^]

I find that Google does not block every single pop-up. But a few here and there I can deal with. I do know that if you don't have the pop-up blocker, it's impossible to surf the internet, at least in my opinion. When more things start going through Google, I may consider something else, but for now I'll stick with it.

Really? When I tried to update my desktop the first time, I could not even login to my system, it kept on giving me all kinds of error messages about the login security table being empty. I tried a fresh install, and at least that time I could login to my PC but the system always came up with at least 100 error messages on startup, and was very unstable. I think I will wait until SP3, it seems that odd numbered service packs from MS work better. Daniel Petersen President Pulsar Enterprises, L.L.C. www.pulsarenterprises.com

It's you AND the google popup blocker. Just use Firefox and be free. ------- sig starts "I've heard some drivers saying, 'We're going too fast here...'.
