Today is the date of formation of my state Kerala. Long, long ago [can't remember the year], Kerala was formed by merging all Malayalam [official language]- speaking areas. In other words, today is Kerala's b'day :). Not a holiday, nor a special day for the common man, but lots of activity by the politicians and the literary people. All men and women [mostly students and working people] wear traditional dresses and that is a great sight. Happy birthday Kerala!
